The app we developed is tailored for the unique requirements of the pharma and toiletries world, involving a rapid response and high availability. This is why the app provides a variety of delivery options, including self-pickup and same day delivery with Gett.

The plan to launch Be as a progressive pharma chain prompted the company to develop an eCommerce app that allows customers to shop online and choose the branch they prefer to independently pick up their order from. The app went into production after only six months of development.

To extend the service to all of Be's customers, realcommerce integrated the app with Gett delivery service, adding components to the application to enable integration with the gathering process and to allow customers to place an order that includes delivery.

The app is based on a powerful system that includes Be's campaigns engine, gathering processes, delivery logistics, among others, and is fully accessible.

The customers enjoy an easy and user-friendly application, which gives them the option to either pick up their order or have it delivered to their home. During the Covid-19 limitations, we added the option to have the order brought out to the car.

To meet Be's need to update the application frequently independent from approval by the app stores, we developed a hybrid app, implementing the client-side with the vue.js library. The app integrates with the server-side through many web services developed by realcommerce in several protocols, including JSON, REST API and more. The app's search engine is based on Algolia.

The powerful platform we developed for Be allows us to set up designated apps in a very short time, by selecting ready-made components, so that all that's left to do is design and build the screens. It's how we were able to develop and roll-out the Be app to production in a record time of three months only, while fully satisfying both our customer and the end-users. The app was downloaded hundreds of thousands of times without any advertising!
