Technologically Speaking
realcommerce provides Leumi Bank with services across its marketing websites. Much of our work includes development of services for the bank's responsive websites and other digital assets. A dedicated realcommerce team responds to the bank's requests based on a quarterly work plan which is decided upon in tight-knit collaboration with the bank and adhered to all its strictest security standards.
Our tasks are a mix of client-side and server-side work, as required specifically by the bank. Our work is divided into two main areas:
Development of fully accessible UI across the marketing website pages. Today, most of our activity is related to maintenance.
We provide all of the services on Bank Leumi's website, including interface integrations with the bank's core systems to enable about 40 different services, including opening an account, forgot password, opening a joint private account, investments activities, loan application process, changing permissions, and more. realcommerce is also responsible for the server-side process of opening an account through the app, without having to go to the branch (a process heavily regulated with a complex mechanism, which includes interfacing with the bank's systems), pre-login operations, touch deposits, authentication, and investment-related actions through the Leumi app.
Additionally, realcommerce also developed the services layer for the bank's benefits platform, "Goodies", for Leumi Credit Card holders, which includes server-side integrations with the systems of the benefits provider.
The extensive knowledge we have accumulated allows us to act as the bank's digital task force and provide it with ongoing services and consultation regarding the design and development of sophisticated processes, to help Leumi Bank fulfill its digital goals.
The cluster of websites we developed has changed over the years. Nonetheless, it operates with maximum efficiency. Today, the information is accessible through the business and marketing websites in Hebrew, Arabic, Russian and English.
