Technologically Speaking
The project included development of the marketing area and an onboarding process, as well as significant improvement in the user experience in the personal area.
The new customer onboarding process includes several stages and requires regulated information for Israel’s mobile communication industry. The process includes online signing of dynamic forms which are generated with the collected information. The development includes interfaces with Golan Telecom's core systems.
The marketing website includes information about Golan Telecom's mobile packages and services, as well as a sign up process through which the customers can select the most suitable package for their needs.
In the personal area, we redesigned the user experience to allow customers to receive online services on topics such as reporting loss and theft, changing a plan, joining local services in Israel and abroad, managing additional family or business numbers in the plan, displaying invoice information, information about services used overseas and more.
The project included OTP (One Time Password) processes to enable product purchasing using quick authentication, while eliminating the need for a fixed password to enable entry to the personal area. OTP processes make it possible to purchase roaming plans immediately, change a service for ended campaigns and purchase CyberSafe services.

The Technologies
We used Drupal for the management system and marketing area which interface with Golan Telecom's servers through REST services. The personal area was written in Angular hosted on Drupal.
We worked closely with Golan Telecom's technology team, which enabled perfect interfacing with the organization's core systems while providing a high level of control of the information passing through the interface.

Achievements
The onboarding process for new customers in the communications industry in Israel is demanding and complex in terms of the information and data that must be presented and operated.
