realcommerce joined forces with Discount Bank in 2014 to develop the bank's highly complex technological infrastructure and platform to support its transition to the digital world. We developed a technologically advanced and responsive website that focused on a unique customer experience, which was a groundbreaking approach in banking at the time. 

Our work included hundreds of screens and countless integrations, while adhering to the bank's strict security demands, as is standard in the world of banking. Our technological expertise and experience in project management, along with perfect coordination with the bank’s staff, allowed us to deliver the project in record time. We built an entire methodology to help us manage the project most efficiently and in complete collaboration with the bank’s teams, delivering the project in small packages.  All management levels were fully engaged to help obtain the necessary approvals for each stage of development. 

We developed a system that integrates with the bank's main server using an eCommerce methodology to deliver a fantastic user experience for the bank's customers, providing them with the freedom to perform different customized actions online.

The bank's satisfaction with the project led to ongoing collaboration with realcommerce, through which we developed and continue to develop most of Discount Bank's websites in perfect unison with the bank's teams.

The bank's customers enjoy an advanced tool which lets them perform actions easily and intuitively. In fact, we made banking information and personalized financial products accessible online for the first time, servicing the bank's customers, taking each customer's banking history into account.

We developed the front-end with Angular, using Single Page Application (SPA) and Client Side Rendering (CSR). We used various web services to interface with the bank's internal systems.

We specified, developed, and designed a highly complex project in just 11 months, earning the bank the Outstanding Computing IT Award and additional international awards and recognition.
